What will web hosting and my domain name cost?
Web hosting
Web hosting is $25 per month payable in advance. For this you get your website hosted securely and with backup. Each month you get a free update to your website, for example adding a new photo or changing some text.
Domain name
A domain name enables your site to be uniquely displayed on the Internet. To register a domain name yourself with our preferred domain name registrar is $31 incl gst per year. Once your domain name is registered, the annual registration renewal fee is $31. We can assist you in registering a domain name and are happy to discuss suitable names with you.
Email addresses
When you have your own domain name, we encourage you to let us set up an email address using that domain name. You will not have to make any changes to your email programme at home as incoming emails will arrive in your inbox as usual. An email address that reflects your domain name looks more professional and means that you don't have to change your business address if you change your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
